Integrated circuits

Integrated circuits are the core component of the electrical economy. They gate:

• Radar components
• Advanced electrical systems
• Late-game automation

Separate from CC:BR

CC:BR (ComputerCraft: Beyond Reason) has its own circuits. These are not interchangeable with Power Grid integrated circuits. There is no free conversion.

Power generation

Power Grid provides electrical power generation and distribution. Components include:

• Generators
• Wiring
• Transformers
• Storage

Use cases

• Radar arrays — all radar components require integrated circuits
• Advanced automation — electrical systems for precision control
• Communication — long-range signal transmission

Tips

1. Integrate Power Grid with Create. Use Create for mechanical power and Power Grid for electrical power.
2. Stockpile integrated circuits. They are expensive and gate most late-game tech.
3. Plan your power grid layout. Wiring has distance limits and capacity constraints.
